North Humberside rally report 25.3.2006
Quaife engineering had heard of the crews problem and sent a development
dog box and ATB diff up for Niall and Pam to use. On a very slippy rally
the new box and diff performed well netting the crew 7th o/a 1400 and 4th
in the competitive B9 class. (Because the ratios were not homologated in gp'A'
the crew had to run in the open class.)
It was also a great test for the new 'WRC' type LEDA suspension units. These units have massive external gas cans and have been designed to give ultimate handling to the ZR.
Niall and Pamela will miss the next round in somerset but will be out again on the Red Dragonin wales on the 20-5-2006.
